So with the new writers come a large blood bath round of cuts, as reported by Soap Opera Digest. According to the SOD article, the changes are only the beginning.

And lastly and leastly, Sarah Joy Brown as Madison

No, you're fired!

I am not very surprised to see this news, although I am surprised to see Matthew/Jack’s name on the chopping block. It seems they never really found a rhythm for Jack. I feel like Austin and Carrie have served their purpose and I’m not really that interested in what happens next for them. And Madison… well, smell ya later.

Days has a huge cast, and in the era of disappearing soaps, it makes sense that they would slim things down a bit. But that doesn’t mean I have to like it.

CALLED IT! Madison Edition

In this post we pointed out that there was no way Madison was going to be that happy for long. And we were right. And what’s the point of being right if you don’t say “CALLED IT!”

PS: Am I the only one who doesn’t feel even a little bit sorry for Madison? She made her bed. She lied to Brady and let things go way too far. She married an ahole, sure, but she reaped the benefits of that marriage for a long time and didn’t realize she wanted out until she met someone new. Just sayin.
